CONTACT STUDY OF DIMEBON
The CONTACT study is now recruiting at Glasgow Memory Clinic.
This study is designed for Alzheimer's sufferers in the moderate to severe stage of the illness.
The CONTACT study is a late-stage clinical research study with the goal of determining whether DIMEBON combined with ARICEPT(also know as Donepezil HCL tablets) safely improves cognition (thinking and awareness), memory, daily functioning, behaviour, and the ability to care for oneself in patients with moderate to severe Alzheimer's disease.
(Please note this study is different from the CONCERT study that is also currently running at Glasgow Memory Clinic http://www.concertstudy.com/)
Who can join the CONTACT study?
People who answer yes to the following questions may be able to join the CONCERT study:
- Do you Have Alzheimer's disease?
- Are you currently taking Aricept?
- Do you have a caregiver who can come with you to the doctor appointments?
